Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

– 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– ½ cup breadcrumbs
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Follow these simple steps to create your Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning.
5. Add Liquid: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes to thicken the sauce slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Combine: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed shrimp, and sauce. Stir in ½ cup of Parmesan cheese until well combined.
7. Assemble the Bake: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
8. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
9. Garnish: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
